Aromatherapy is the use of essential oils to promote physical and emotional well-being. It can be used to help alleviate stress, improve mood, and promote relaxation.  We use this to help stimulate nasal breathing throughout therapy.

Myofunctional Therapy is ideal for people who want to restore their breathing and oral function in a non-invasive, efficient and fun way.

Those who want to treat obstructive sleep apnea, snoring, jaw pain, and headaches can leverage myofunctional therapy exercises, as they can alleviate the symptoms caused by sleep-disordered breathing, relax or strengthen the tongue and throat muscles, reduce tension in the face, and more.

Yes! Its very similar to physical therapy but it is designed to treat the face, mouth, and tongue muscles. Therefore, these exercises can help people to train or improve their breathing, chewing, speaking, and swallowing.

Both children & adults can leverage the benefits of myofunctional therapy.

Myofunctional therapy has been designed for people who snore, breathe through their mouths during the day &/or night, have a tongue-tie or jaw/TMJ pain, or clench and grind their teeth.  It is beneficial for those who have been diagnosed with obstructive sleep apnea or sleep-disordered breathing, have large tonsils/adenoids or have  had them removed, and those who suffer from asthma or allergies.  Myofunctional therapy also helps provide retention stability for those who need or have had orthodontics.

However, a person doesn't need to have all these problems to be a candidate for orofacial myofunctional therapy.  Even just one can indicate a need.
